There are two processes for screw thread forming: one is cutting and the other is extrusion.

Cutting processing is generally lathe processing, which is to find an iron rod that is a round rod of the material you need. The diameter of the round bar is the maximum outer diameter of the special screw. For the processing of tooth-shaped turning tools, the front end of the turning tool must be ground to the size of the screw tooth shape. Otherwise, the assembly will be affected. The diameter of the iron rod is the middle value between the maximum size at the top of the screw and the minimum size at the bottom of the screw. Utilizing the flow properties of metal materials through high-speed extrusion molding, extrusion processing can realize batch automated production with stable quality. Low cost, high efficiency, suitable for large-volume, large-scale production.
